Cleanliness and hygiene are important components of our everyday hotel life, and not just since Corona. There are strict and very detailed regulations from various institutions such as the food authority and the health department. The Eder Hotels have always taken these regulations very seriously. Officials regularly and sometimes spontaneously check whether a hotel is being run properly and in accordance with hygiene standards.

For example, the Eder team has just been praised for its exemplary compliance with hygiene and cleanliness standards during a routine inspection. We are naturally pleased about this, but we are by no means resting on recognition like that. Because right now, we need to do even more on top. And so we have used the time of the hotel closure to adapt our hygiene standards to current requirements.

We want our guests to relax and feel good all around. This includes the good and safe feeling of being able to move carefree in all hotel areas. Hygiene in the rooms and public areas has therefore been optimized once again at a high level throughout the hotel in consultation with the House Keeping experts.

The restaurant, the wellness oasis and the pool area are equipped with hygiene dispensers. All hotel employees, suppliers and partners are prepared for maximum possible standards of cleanliness.

Those who know the Eder Hotels and the creative team - above all our landlord Sepp - know that we are not satisfied with "normal" standards. And so Sepp and his wife Tanja have also come up with something special for the new hygiene requirement:

In cooperation with the regional noble distillery Grünegg from Dienten, the new disinfection perfume "Eau de Desinfection by The Eder Collection" has been created. There are different fragrances such as Pink Berry, Blue Rosemary and Green Menta. The disinfecting fragrance sprays in stylish bottles are available in the rooms and can be purchased through the Eder Shop.

We all probably still have to get used to wearing masks. To make it easier for us and to keep our smile even in this serious situation, we have designed very special mouth-nose protective masks in "exSEPPtional" design. We think protective measures don't have to be boring. Quite the contrary. So we hope that our funny masks will provide at least a smile, maybe even a laugh, because as we know, that's healthy. The original cotton masks are washable and reusable, but they do not meet medical FFP standards. Nevertheless, the masks help to protect our fellows.

Special times require special measures. So we do everything in our power to protect our guests, visitors, employees, families, partners, neighbors, suppliers in the best possible way.

• No kissing
• Keep distance
• Do not touch face (especially mouth, nose and eyes)
• Wash or disinfect hands regularly (30sec)
• Wear mouth-nose protection
• Follow sneezing and coughing etiquette (into a handkerchief or elbow)
• In case of illness symptoms before arrival, please postpone the trip (we will find a solution!)
• If symptoms of illness occur during your stay at the hotel, please stay in your room, inform the hotel staff and call the Corona hotline 1450 if necessary
