With Glitter and Glamor into the Golden Twenties
The 20s of the last century stood for parties until dawn, glamor, debauchery, dance and extravagance. At the current turn of the year, exactly 100 years later, we let this exuberant attitude to life blossom again in the Hotel Eder.
The color of the evening, which then as now represents exaggeration, decadence and unbridledness: gold!
The drink of the evening, which stands for luxury and joie de vivre: bubbly!
The culinary delights of the evening for excessive indulgence: oysters, caviar, salmon, lobster, truffles!
The entertainment of the evening: burlesque dancers and music, music, music!
The extravagant New Year's Eve of the 20s in the Eder was truly a lavish celebration to start with glitter and glamor in the golden 20s of the modern era. Around 400 guests celebrated the new decade with a fine champagne reception, an opulent dinner, lively music by DJ Sven, surprising entertainment and an extravagant party.
Many guests have implemented the dress code of the Roaring Twenties and have made the big appearance elegant, noble, glamorous and definitely with lots of bling bling. There you saw flapper girls and dandies dancing Charleston. Sexy burlesque dancers meandered across the floor between golden balloons and heavy velvet curtains. Waiters in a stylish 20s outfit cheerfully ensured that the glasses were always full. And even the Eder duck dressed up and disguised itself as Goda Gold.
The voltage increases. Loud laughter in the room. Exuberant joie de vivre everywhere ... At midnight, the mood could not have been nicer than everyone had loudly greeted the new decade. What a night!!
May the 20s be golden full of moments of happiness, enjoyment and wellbeing, full of occasions for laughter and happiness, full of love, friends, health, magic, courage, joie de vivre, opportunities, uniqueness and full of dreams.
